Raimundo Elías Gómez completed his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in Social Anthropology at the National University of Misiones in Argentina. His initial postdoctoral research concluded in 2018 at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Currently, he holds the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Letters, University of Porto, Portugal, supported by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship from the European Union (Project: 101102978 — SSpaceGX, "Social Space and Nature Conservation in the Gerêz-Xurés Transboundary Biosphere Reserve [Portugal/Spain]"). Concurrently, he also serves as a Research Assistant at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research in Argentina.
Raimundo Elías Gómez has authored numerous articles in academic journals, contributed to several sections of books, and co-authored a couple of books, among other scholarly publications.
