Elsa Correia Pereira is a sociologist with a degree in Sociology and Planning from ISCTE (2002). Her thesis was entitled "Religious beliefs and drug addiction: the appropriation of the religious dimension in a therapeutic community". She is a doctoral student and has a research grant from the FCT, under the framework of the collaboration protocol between FCT and IS-UP (REF. UI/BD/154276/2022). Her thesis focuses on the topic of the role of women in evangelical communities in Europe.
