Jorge Cerdeira holds a degree and a PhD in Economics from the University of Porto. Adjunct Professor at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, he has also taught various curricular units in the areas of Economics and Management at other institutions, such as the Faculty of Economics of Porto, the School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho, the School of Social Services of Porto, the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto and the Porto Accounting and Business School.
His research focuses on the areas of International Economics, International Political Economy and International Business, having several scientific publications, including in international journals indexed and with impact factor. He has supervised several postgraduate students in these areas of knowledge and participated in national and international conferences. Additionally, he has collaborated in several national and European projects in the field of public policies regarding labour and the new energy paradigm.
