16th ESA Conference - Porto (Portugal), 27 - 30 August 2024
Every other year since 1992, the European Sociological Association organises a big conference in different European countries. In 2024, the conference will be held in Porto and more than 3,800 participants are expected from all over the world!
The event is being locally organised by a consortium of research centres and universities from the North and Centre of Portugal, including the Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto (IS-UP), and is led by the Portuguese Sociological Association (APS).
The 16th ESA Congress "Tension, Trust, and Transformation" is a unique opportunity for researchers and academics to exchange ideas and contribute to the advancement of sociological knowledge.
