On the occasion of the celebration of the 115th anniversary of the birth of Simone de Beauvoir (1908-1986), Paula Guerra, professor, sociologist and researcher at ISUP, promotes a reading circle around an excerpt from the second part of the work "Segundo Sexo" dedicated to the history of (un)concealment and (re)construction of women, of these Others. The session will take place on January 26, at 5:30 p.m., at the Casa dos Livros inspired by the two visits Simone made to Portugal, namely to FLUP in 1975.
